Joseph focuses on getting the best result possible for each of his clients, and he has helped recover tens of millions of dollars through settlements and judgments. His experience spans a wide range of legal matters, including business disputes, appellate advocacy, and complex litigation in cases that have garnered national media attention. He has represented a variety of clients, from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and in industries such as franchising, healthcare, financial services, and real estate.
Joseph has successfully advised clients at every level of the Tennessee court system, from trial courts to the Court of Appeals and Tennessee Supreme Court, as well as in multiple federal district courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal. He has been inducted into the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers, and he has received various awards, including the American College of Trial Lawyers Medal of Excellence twice.
Joseph earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he graduated first in his class and summa cum laude. During law school, he externed for the Honorable Thomas A. Varlan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and competed in the National Moot Court Competition, winning the regional competition two years in row.
Before law school, Joseph earned a bachelor’s in Geography and a master’s in German from the University of Tennessee. He also worked as a brewer at the Blackhorse Pub and Brewery. During his master’s program, he studied for a year at the University of Stuttgart in Germany, where he met his wife and taught undergraduate German courses. Joseph is also the founder of Robinson Immigration Law and Wyzer Staffing. When not working, he enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his wife Sara and their Sheltie Effie.
