Bio

Taylor R. Dahl

Founder, Attorney

Having grown up in Clarksville, I am proud to serve the community here as an attorney. I love what I do and enjoy my legal career, but I’ll also tell you a little bit about who I am outside of the law.

I was born in Fort Rucker, Alabama, spent some of my childhood in East Tennessee, but the vast majority here in Clarksville. I grew up working in my family’s restaurant. I met my now-husband Cody at Clarksville High. I then went to the University of Tennessee,  where I started off in the architecture program. Having quickly realized that was not for me, I found my way to the College of Business, which was much more my speed, and I earned my degree in Business Administration. During college, I had the opportunity to intern for a local attorney and decided to go to law school. I earned my Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University.

I knew I didn’t want to be part of the big law firm game. I wanted to make an actual difference for real people. I spent my first five years out of law school as an associate attorney in other firms, where I learned how to practice in a variety of areas. I opened my own office in 2020 and haven’t looked back since. We have grown exponentially and continue to do so. I truly enjoy mentoring other attorneys, teaching them what I’ve learned over the years, and ensuring that we’re able to help each and every single one of our clients by providing them with the best representation.

I am licensed to practice in Tennessee and Kentucky state courts, as well as the Middle District of Tennessee federal court. In addition to the law side of my office, I opened Dahl Title & Escrow in 2021, where we offer residential and commercial real estate closing services, title searches, and insurance. I am a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and Kentucky Bar Association.

Outside of the law, my life mostly revolves around my family and my horses. Cody and I welcomed our wonderful baby girl into the world in 2025, so when I’m not working I can often be found momming. My family is a huge part of my life, and I’m lucky enough to be close with my parents, siblings, and in-laws. They have all had a large impact on my life, and family relationships are deeply important to me.

I have long had a horse obsession, so we live on a small farm where my collection of horses has grown over the years. In my spare time, I ride competitively and go to horse shows. I clean a lot of stalls. If I can find time outside of that, I also really enjoy playing volleyball and tennis.

I love traveling and going to the beach. If I ever win the lottery (not that I even play), you might find that I’ve moved to an island. Until then, I’ll be here at the office, helping other people and families. I look forward to meeting you.
